Children's Geographies examines how young people see, make, and live in space. My research in this field interrogates how social movements have invoked children's interests to shape urban space, with positive and negative results.
Immigration research explore how migrants settle in their new homes. This research looks at how housing is an integral element in feeling at home, and how systemic discrimination in the form of racism hinders this process.
